The "figurative" heart

about 25 years ago i gave a talk about how when the bible talks about the heart that it is the literal heart and how the heart and the brain are connected by nerve tissue.

the watchtower even stated that some people who received a heart transplant would take on some of the personality of the donor.then all of a sudden the borg changed and said that when the bible refers to the heart that it is figurative.

then when ever the watchtower referred to the heart it always put the word figurative in front of it.. does anyone know why there was a change in the use of the word heart?

Does anyone know why there was a change in the use of the word heart? When the Bible says to love god with your whole heart, mind, and soul, it is your real mind and real soul but only a figurative heart? There had to be something that caused this change. I always wondered what would have caused this understanding.

In 1970 I was going to go to school in the medical field until the elders talked me out if it because in 1975 the great tribulation would happen and we wont need doctors and hospitals. 50 years later still no great tribulation. The Watchtower Society needs to be taken d down.

I have to admit that the Borg has done an excellent job at demonizing any negative press to the extent that 99% of JDubs are scared to death to talk to to ex members or to look at CA articles. JDubs are just brain dead giving up their life to live in a make believe paradise.

i went to my sister's house because she was cleaning out the garage and she thought i must have tons of stuff left there.

JWs, The WatchTower Society, Child Abuse and Disfellowshipping

something just struck me.. is the wts the only religion that won't kick people out for abusing children, but would kick you out for visiting a website that informs you that the wts won't kick people out for abusing children .... it really shows where their sensibilities lie.

they are more interested in acting as gatekeepers to information, especially information about them, than providing basic levels of protection to the children of their members.. maybe someone with a better turn of phrase can shorten it, it might make a good meme - something short and simple that really makes people think:.

"the wts - tougher on those who read reports of jw child abuse than on jws who conduct child abuse".

Very happy young drum player

when i saw this young boy play the drums i was really impressed by his talent and the joy that he has.

for some strange reason, i thought of how his life would change if his parents studied with the jdubs and became witnesses.

i could see how the boy's life would change.

When I saw this young boy play the drums I was really impressed by his talent and the joy that he has. For some strange reason, I thought of how his life would change if his parents studied with the JDubs and became Witnesses. I could see how the boy's life would change. It would not take long for his drum playing and his selection of music that he listened to and enjoyed to be tamped down. His future would be drastically changed and the joy that he now has would just become a memory of how things used to be before the JDub brainwashing.

Being a JDub when I was his age took my happiness away due to being different in school as I could not eat the birthday cake and cookies when my school mates celebrated. I could not color turkeys or Santa Clause or Christmas trees. I was different and made fun of. I hated being a JDub and being different. Being a JDub took away the happiness that children need.

Ridiculous refusion of blood transfusions

JDubs will take parts of blood but not when all of the parts are put together. It is like they will eat peaches, flour, butter, sugar, salt, and cinnamon but not when they are all put together to make a peach pie. It is just so stupid. I wish that they could think for themselves. They let the 8 popes control their lives.

when i am watching tv i hear the meetings in the background.

i just cringe with how a witless can't give a comment without having said jehovah at least two times.

Jdubs don't realize just how cultish they really are. They have their own theocraptic vocabulary. It is also like a contest of who can say Jehovah the most is one sentence. I bet that Jesus feels left out.
